For the 6'3'' junior from Bridgewater-Raritan, Jeffrey Praml's 2016 season has started about as well as it could. The right-handed pitcher has established himself as a force to be reckon with, as his undefeated record speaks for itself. After throwing in 7 games, Praml has fanned 17 while allowing just 7 earned runs over 26.2 innings. Praml owns a 2.125 k/bb ratio along with .64 k/inning ratio. The most impressive stat, perhaps, he has begun this remarkable start without suffering a single loss, as he is 4-0. Praml's recent start was a beacon of what he has been doing all year long. Starting against Monroe, who had not suffered a league loss, Praml was up for the challenge.
"Starter Jeff Praml retired the last 10 batters he faced for Bridgewater-Raritan before yielding after nine innings to Thul, who took the loss. Praml allowed just one earned run," according to Courier News.
Despite not earning the win, Praml illustrated just how talented he is as he went 9 innings shutting down the best team in their respective league. Praml headed into this game riding a 4 game win streak, and a perfect 4-0 record. Praml will look to continue his success on the mound this week.
Notable wins: Westfield, Hillsborough
Praml will rejoin the Zoned Red Hawks this summer with the 2017 Elite team. Until then we wish him the best of luck and to continue his dominance with Bridgewater-Raritan as they complete their high school season.
