Zoned Redhawks 10U Elite fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 8-2 loss to Diamond Jacks on Friday.Diamond Jacks scored on a single by Lewis and a double by Basile in the first inning. The Zoned Redhawks 10U Elite struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Diamond Jacks, giving up eight runs. Diamond Jacks got things moving in the first inning, when Lewis singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. Denvir was on the pitcher’s mound for Diamond Jacks. He allowed three hits and one run over two innings, striking out two and walking one. John F led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Zoned Redhawks 10U Elite. He went two innings, allowing four runs on five hits, striking out one and walking one. Mikey P, Jack T, and Anthony D each contributed in relief for Zoned Redhawks 10U Elite. Mason C, Mikey P, Colin R, and Evan W powered the big inning with RBIs. Mikey toed the rubber for Zoned Redhawks 10U Elite. He surrendered two runs on one hit over three innings, striking out three. Zoned Redhawks 12U Elite secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the third inning. Zoned Redhawks 12U Elite offense in the inning was led by JP Z, Anthony S, Tyler C, and Jason R, who all drove in runs. Zoned Redhawks 12U Elite got things started in the first inning. JP drove in one when he singled. Zoned Redhawks 12U Elite tallied seven runs in the third inning. Zoned Redhawks 12U Elite put the pressure on, lead by singles by JP and Anthony, by Jason, and by Tyler. Anthony got the win for Zoned Redhawks 12U Elite.
