The Zoned scholarship is a yearly scholarship program put in place to assist college bound baseball and softball players. It was formed to help student-athletes with college expenses (books, meal plan, room & board). It has been in place since 2007, and each year has awarded $10,000.00, divided up among 6 deserving athletes. Since its inception, Zoned has given out over $100,000 worth of scholarships!

Zoned has been able to expand this scholarship program over the last 2 years, with help from the Zoned Scholarship Scramble Golf Outing. Zoned now offers a Redhawk Scholarship to student-athletes that need assistance with team fees & travel expenses to members of its travel baseball program which ranges from 10U to 17U. Zoned also helps with underfunded little league programs and renovations for local baseball fields.

Recent community service efforts also include “Swinging for Sandy,” which was a one day baseball camp that raised money for Hurricane Sandy victims and the St. Baldrick’s Conquer Cancer Clinic. One of our most recent recipients of the RedHawk Scholarship is Mike Nikorak, a 1st round selection by the Colorado Rockies in the 2015 MLB Draft.
