Available Baseball Programs
Little Sluggers (Ages: 4-6):
Designed for players who are new to the great game of baseball. Players will be taught the proper mechanics for throwing, hitting and fielding in a safe and non-competitive environment. This program was developed with the emphasis on showing how much FUN baseball is. For this group only: Call for pricing!
Rookie Ball (Ages: 6-8):
This program will teach the basic skills and fundamentals needed to develop the right muscle memory to play and enjoy the game of baseball. Instruction in throwing, catching, hitting, fielding, pitching and running will be given during these classes.
Minor Leagues ("A" Ball, Ages: 8-10 & "AA" Ball, Ages: 10-12):
These programs were developed to train proper mechanics at a higher level. These sessions will provide a more in-depth instructional approach to pitching, hitting, fielding, throwing and running. These players will also be introduced to the strategic (mental) side of the game, as well as mental touch upon pitching.
Minor Leagues (Ages: 12-14, 90' & Advanced 50'/70' field players):
Our most advanced programs are designed with the serious player in mind, who has his sights set on going on to the "next level". At this level, it is important that flaws are recognized, a plan is set and executed to correct them. These sessions will provide the students with the most advanced drill and training methods & hitting strategy. These programs will run true to the advanced coaches' proven practice approach of "Game Situational" work.
Majors (Ages: 14-18): Advanced Middle School & High School Level:
Players in this program will be involved in our most intensive sessions. This program was designed with the most advanced athletes in mind. Players will be placed in a competitive environment and will go through our most advanced hitting and defensive work.
Evaluation and Enrollment:

Each player will be evaluated the first week of classes.

Upon evaluation, a player may be asked to move to a class more beneficial to his/her ability and needs.
Staff:
The teaching staff at Zoned, led by Duke Baxter and Emiliano Escandon, is a qualified group of professionals who love the game of baseball and teach it with enthusiasm and passion. Zoned's instructors have been successful college baseball players and coaches, and most played at the NCAA Division 1A level. A number of our instructors have Major League Baseball experience and some continue to play in Professional Independent Leagues.
Our instructors at Zoned are eager to share their wealth of knowledge and experience with players and parents. That is why, for those who still have the opportunity and goals, there is no better place to be than "ZONED"! |
